Where We Are

3749 Ponte Chiodo is located in an important artistic Venetian area, situated 3 minutes walk to the famous Ca' D'Oro Palace (and Ca' D'Oro Stop) not far from Rialto Bridge.

About 20 minutes Private bus form the airport.

About 30 minutes Public bus fomr the airport.

Once you arrive in Venice / Piazzale Roma you have to take the vaporetto (waterbus) number 1 (the ticket is €6) in the direction of Rialto-San Marco. Get off at Ca' D'Oro Stop (it is the fifth stop).

Once there, walk down the short street (calle Cà D'Oro), then turn left at the large street (Strada Nuova), soon on your right you will find a little square (corte dei Pali già dei Testori) with a well near a little fountain.

Turn right to cross the square keeping to your left. At the left corner of the square, turn left down the small street. Immediataly you will find a street which name is "Calle Priuli", turn to the right and go along it, cross a little iron bridge (pay attention after the bridge the street's name changes into Calle de la Raccheta).

In another few metres you will find Ponte Chiodo on the left, address number 3749. You will recognize it because the entrance door opens onto a private garden. Otherwise, from Cà D'Oro stop to the guest house will only take about four minutes walk.

Arrival by Boat

From Venice Airport you can take a the ALILAGUNA to arrive to Venice by boat www.alilaguna.it. There is a shuttle which will take you from the arrival gate to the water station. The journey to Venice takes about 40 minutes. You have to get off to Fondamente Nuove Station.

Once off the boat turn right and keep going straight (Fondamente Nuove), and take the first turning on your left into Salizada degli Specchieri, at the end you will find a square Campo dei Gesuiti, you have to cross the square and at the end before the bridge turn right and get Fondamenta Zen, at the end of the Fondamenta, turn left and cross a little bridge entering in Calle de la Racheta, go along for about 100 on the right side of the street you will find our guest house. Cannaregio 3749. The journey takes aprox 10 minutes.

From Treviso Airport to Venice/Piazzale Roma:

There is a shuttle that brings your straight to Venice Piazzale Roma (about 1h).

Arrival by Car

From the exit of the motorway A4 or A27 follow the direction "Venezia". You can decide to park the car nearby the parkings located in Via Righi where you can find a bus to Venice Piazzale Roma; cost 1 euro - about 10 minutes-; or to arrive straight to Venice/Piazzale Roma and park the car in Garage Comunale or in Tronchetto island.
